Cecil graduated from Arendell Parrott Academy and attended Pitt Community College and East Carolina University with a concentration in Business Management. During the early years he worked alongside his father in their tax and accounting firm. In 2004 he had the opportunity to work with a fortune 200 company in the employee benefit market. By the end of 2005, he was meeting all goals and finished in the top 10 benefit advisors in his company. In 2006 he was promoted to a District Manager and in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015 and he was recognized as the top District Manager for North Carolina East. In 2019 he used all his years of experience and founded Connect Business Solutions LLC. He partnered with 3 of his colleagues to form a client centered broker/agency providing turn key benefit and enrollment solutions. Additionally, he loves to spend time and take trips with his wife Tracie and there 3 daughters and son-in-laws. He also loves to play golf and hang out with his 2 dogs Charlie and Ellie.
Mike graduated from Chocowinity high school and attended East Carolina University with a concentration in Psychology and business management. After college he worked at the Hilton hotel in Greenville NC as a banquet manager. In 2000 he took an opportunity to work with an industry leader and employee worksite benefits. He qualified as the top agent in total sales for six consecutive years in the Greenville region. He moved on to management with that company. He won many awards at that level and qualified for trips across the country and abroad. In 2020, he joined Connect Business Solutions as a senior partner. He heads the life division and enjoys helping new agents achieve their financial goals. Mike loves spending time with his wife Heather and his two daughters Malori and Marissa. Mike is also an avid outdoorsman and loves hunting and fishing.
Emily Richardson is a Goldsboro native and Graduate from Southern Wayne high school. After attending Wayne Community College and East Carolina University- Emily spent several years in the Dental field until her most important role of being a wife and mother led her to desiring another career. It was then she decided to obtain her Health & Life insurance license and joined an industry leader in worksite and employee benefits where she obtained Rookie of the Year and was promoted to Assistant District Sales coordinator within her first year, to District Sales Coordinator less than a year later. Emily specializes in Group Benefit Solutions and helping businesses put together full benefits packages that fit their needs. Emily thoroughly enjoys that she is able to fulfill the calling on her life by serving others and understanding that there is more to insurance than making a sale- it is about developing a relationship with her clients and finding coverage that will help them most in their time of need. She is looking forward to serving you!
Noah Ausherman graduated from Bear Grass Charter school in 2018, and completed his Bachelor’s in Accounting at ECU in the spring of 2021. He is currently in pursuit of his Masters of Business of Administration, also at ECU. He has worked for the university in student roles and temporary positions since 2018, and with a local accounting firm for a year and a half before joining Connect Business Solutions full time in June of 2022. Noah enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, as well as volunteering at his local church assembly.
